Domu Prexada — Sardinia, Italy
Individual work, retreats, evolving field
Domu Prexada is a thoughtfully curated retreat setting in southern Sardinia — where space, light, and landscape create a calm and supportive field for deep work and sustained practice.
It is a place of grounding and continuity, where Tibetan Pulsing unfolds in close relationship with land, time, and a naturally unhurried rhythm.
Overview
Domu Prexada is a villa and retreat space located in southern Sardinia, set within a protected rural area and surrounded by landscapes marked by long human presence and ancient ritual sites. The sea is reachable within a short drive, allowing for a balance between inland quiet and coastal openness.
The property is immersed in a spacious garden of approximately 3,000 m², with terraces and a seasonal 11 × 5 m swimming pool. Accommodation includes multiple en-suite bedrooms, each with independent terrace access and carefully chosen details such as hydromassage showers and air conditioning.
Rather than a generic retreat venue, Domu Prexada reflects intentional hospitality and aesthetic care: harmonious interiors, soft color palettes, well-proportioned communal spaces for movement and stillness, and outdoor areas designed for rest, and shared presence.
Sardinia itself is one of the oldest landmasses in the Mediterranean. Its geology and long cultural history create a context where time is experienced differently — slower, layered, and grounded — offering a fertile environment for nervous system work that unfolds over days.
Why Tibetan Pulsing Here
Tibetan Pulsing benefits from environments that allow the nervous system to settle, regulate, and integrate without constant external stimulation.
At Domu Prexada, this is supported by:
- Wide skies and Mediterranean light, offering sensory clarity without overload
- Proximity to natural and historical landmarks — waterfalls, archaeological sites, and beaches — without losing the containment of a rural setting
- A quiet daily rhythm, free from urban pressure
Within the wider Indian context, inner work is less isolated from daily life and more naturally interwoven with it. This supports Tibetan Pulsing processes that benefit from softening control, allowing sensation that emerges moment to moment, and trusting organic unfolding rather than following fixed structures.
Key qualities of this location
- Grounding — the land naturally supports bodily presence and downward movement
- Continuity — days unfold without fragmentation, allowing processes to deepen
- Simplicity — reduced external input supports inward focus and integration
Domu Prexada is not used sporadically. It hosts Tibetan Pulsing work on a continuous basis throughout the year, including retreats, seminars, events, and individual work. Over time, this continuity has created a stable and well-held field, familiar with the rhythm and depth required by the practice.
Nourishment & Food
During our retreats at Domu Prexada, meals are prepared by a private chef, with attention to how food supports the work and the nervous system.
The cuisine is:
Seasonal · Local · Organic · Vegan · Light yet nourishing · Free from white sugar
Meals are designed to be supportive rather than stimulating — offering nourishment that complements the rhythm of practice, digestion, and rest. Shared meals become part of the retreat container, contributing to a sense of continuity, grounding, and collective care.
